Terms of use
Terms governing use of the Cloudopstools website and professional engagements.
Acceptance
By accessing cloudopstools.digital or commissioning services from Cloudopstools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or engage our services.
Services described on this site
Descriptions of vendor invoice verification and related reviews are informational. A binding engagement exists only when both parties accept a written scope letter or engagement confirmation stating fee, period, and deliverables.
Intellectual property
Website text, layout, and branding belong to Cloudopstools or its licensors. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial use without written permission. Engagement reports belong to the commissioning client for internal use; redistribution to third parties requires our prior written consent unless required by law or your external auditor.
Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate extracts and documents, obtain any internal approvals needed for us to access records, and not ask us to conceal known irregularities. Delays in providing documents may shift timelines stated in the scope letter.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Cloudopstools is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost savings, arising from use of this website or from engagements, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Our aggregate liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, unless a different cap is stated in the scope letter.
Website content may contain occasional inaccuracies; it does not constitute formal advice until confirmed in an engagement deliverable.
Professional nature of findings
Exception reports reflect testing performed against agreed criteria. They are not statutory audit opinions under Hong Kong Standards on Auditing and must not be represented as such.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, unless the scope letter specifies otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
